Acorn Time

We have lots of Oak trees in our yard. And they produce lots of acorns in the fall. And that brings lots of squirrels. And nothin's cuter then watchin a squirrel eat an acorn, then bury another.

I love their little fingers.

Thief!

When you throw a cracker out for the ducks, and a gull comes along and snatches it, you just go get another cracker.

Sleepy Swan

The swans looked happy today. They were friendly and almost looked as though they wanted me to photograph them. So I did.

This guy tried to look mean, but he was the picture of beauty. But then he looked like he was getting tired of the whole thing.

And he started to nod off....

And went right to sleep.

Good Morning Glory!

This little morning glory just opened up. It still looks a little wrinkled from it's sleep last night. Not that I'd know what that feels like.

My neighbors asked me to join them for a sunset boat ride this evening. It was beautiful. The moon was on one side of the lake...

And the Sun was setting on the other side of the lake.

I hate to see summer come to an end.
