Flowers

I picked myself a bouquet of lilacs today.

A few more spring flowers

Lilacs have to be my all time favorite flower of the spring. There is nothing that smells quite as good as this flower. Except maybe the lily of the valley. And they are not quite in bloom. Maybe tomorrow..

to the little purple flowers (that's what I call them because I don't know what they are)

And the cluster of trillium. You know it's spring when you see these flowers pop up magically in your yard.

And my hen's and chicks made it through another winter on my back porch. yea!

And we can't forget the bleeding heart..

Along came a spider...

As spiders go, this is probably a very pretty one. But I got the creeps really bad taking his picture because I had to get VERY close to him. And I was afraid he was going to jump at me. But he didn't. p.s. he was huge. HUGE I tell ya.

Umbrellas

I saw this at Hobby Lobby. I just had to have it. It's now in my laundry room at the cottage.
