Shortly after my arrival home, the dog began to bark. Low and behold, this beautiful creature was standing in our front yard. I followed her across the street, and here she stands in my neighbor's yard. I can't believe she let me get this close. Soon after, she bolted.
I have three tiny tomatoes on my plants I put in pots. I have no tomatoes on my heirloom plant that is in the ground. Maybe I'm not meant to be a gardener. That is my sister's job.
My little friend that lives a few cottages down found this beauty in the shallow of the lake this afternoon. The clam was alive and well in his shell. When I told her how much I enjoyed clam chowder and that I had a great cookbook indoors, she quickly threw him back into the lake.
